In July 2016, the UNETE Project was launched by Hi-Iberia. This project, that is funded by the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda, aims to develop a platform that offers older adults a social community from which being able to interact with their environment and social life, through the automatic creation of discussion groups on the basis of their interests/preferences and location, concretely their neighbourhood. These interactions are used by the system to detect possible risk of cognitive impairments in users under cutting-edge technologies, such as Natural Language Processing, dynamic user modeling, etc.

During this meeting, the first steps to be taken regarding project activities in these initial project months were discussed. The first step consisted on establishing the quality and risk management plan in order to ensure that an acceptable level of quality is achieved in the project, minimizing risk, by avoiding or fixing it with adequate contingency plans. Then, a discussion about possible actors and cases of use of UNETE according to the functionalities that it offers was performed –  a set of seven use cases was finally agreed.

The meeting ended with a debate for the design of the UNETE web page as well as the elements composing project identity, i.e. logo of the project as well as project style for deliverables, presentation slides, etc.
